Samuel Cho was born in Korea in 1951 and came to the United States in 1970.
Since receiving his bachelor's degree in Architecture from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona,
he has accumulated a wide range of professional experiences both in the United States and abroad.
Mr. Cho launched his professional career serving with Ko-Am Co. in Los Angeles, California.
During this period, he was responsible for architectural design, construction supervision and management of numerous projects, including shopping centers,
industrial and commercial buildings, an exhibition complex, and residential projects.
He then joined O.K. Earl Corporation in Pasadena, California
and enhanced his architectural career by working as an interior project designer.
There he specialized in space planning and interior design of financial institutions.
In 1983, he joined Irvine Business Group (IBG), Irvine, California, as the director of the architectural engineering department.
In this capacity, he was engaged in numerous overseas’ construction projects. As a consultant,
he coordinated designs and construction inquiries and also oversaw procurement and deliver of building materials.
In 1985, building upon his range of experiences within the local and international communities, he formed Samuel Cho, AIA & Associates in Los Angeles, California.
He has since built a reputation for thorough and professional services with particular sensitivity to his clients' budgets without losing sights of their needs and desires.
During late 1980, Mr. Cho also developed numerous apartment projects. He purchased properties, designed, constructed, and managed the properties.
Samuel Cho is not only the licensed architect in California, but also he is actively involved in the community.
He is a commissioner of Community Advisory Committee in Community Redevelopment Agency in the City of Los Angeles.
He has also served as the president of Korean American Institute of Architect.
